NEVADA THEATRE: The Onyx Downtown and the Nevada City Chamber of Commerce are excited to bring THE CHRISTMAS CARD to the Nevada Theatre for a special free screening! Set entirely in Nevada City and filmed on location, Hallmark’s THE CHRISTMAS CARD follows the story of an American soldier who is deeply touched by a holiday card he receives while serving in Afghanistan. Originally slated to be set in Vermont, budget constraints led the film’s producers to set the film right here in Nevada City. From the Classic Cafe to the Methodist Church, there are plenty of local landmarks to spot!
This special free screening is sponsored by the Onyx Downtown and the Nevada City Chamber of Commerce. It will take place in the evening after Victorian Christmas. Parking will be available once Victorian Christmas ends at 6:00 PM. Doors will open at the Nevada Theatre at 6:30 PM, and the film will start at 7:00 PM.
