Nevada City’s beloved Magic Theatre has metamorphosed into a wonderful new cinema experience known as THE ONYX. We’ve expanded to two screening rooms which feature state of the art projection, sound and seating. Our beautifully redesigned lobby and concession bar will serve delicious local eats, treats, plus an exceptionally curated selection of wine & beer! (all showings are 21+)

Despite all this change one thing stays the same: we’ll still be presenting the finest in independent film from around the world. See you at the next showing!
