Special screening of the 2025 WOMEN'S ADVENTURE FILM TOUR
Co-presented by Onyx Downtown and Gold Crush Climbing Gym
For the first time, Onyx Downtown at the Nevada Theatre is bringing the WOMEN'S ADVENTURE FILM TOUR to Nevada City—and teaming up with Gold Crush Climbing Gym to make it happen. This special event celebrates fearless storytelling, wild landscapes, and the women who dare to push past limits—physical, personal, and cultural.
The 2025 tour features a globe-spanning lineup of short films that explore the grit, joy, and complexity of outdoor adventure. From skeleton sledding to long-distance cycling, kiteboarding to mountain biking, these stories dive into the heart of what drives women to move, explore, and make art along the way.
We’re excited to partner with Gold Crush Climbing Gym, Grass Valley’s home for climbing, fitness, and connection. With programs for youth and adults, a welcoming vibe, and 24/7 access for members, Gold Crush is helping people of all levels challenge themselves and find their strength. Representatives from the gym will be at the screening to share more.
